Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium Grant

The government provide the Pupil Premium Grant to schools based on the number of children who receive Free School Meals (FSM) or who have received free school meals in the last 6 years, Looked After Children (LAC) and children from families whose parents are in the Armed Forces.

The intended effect of this funding is to accelerate progress and raise attainment.

Pupil Premium is allocated to schools and is clearly identifiable. It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium, allocated to schools per pupil, is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility.

Detailed in the files below are annual strategies with details of the amount our school has received and how we plan to spend this money to support our pupil premium children and the impact it has had.
