Turnips, tatties and thyme!

On Thursday 27th March years 1 and 2 visited Berwick allotments to support our work on the topic 'growing'.  We were shown around by Mr and Mrs White who told us all about the different fruits, vegetables and herbs grown in the allotments.  The children were fascinated to see how many different foods were growing there!  We had a fantastic time and lots of children are now keen to start their own vegetable patch!  Well done children and thank you to Mr and Mrs White.
